The "I want to die young, but not by accident" Starter Pack
The average life span in the US is low seventies. Plenty of people kick the bucket years before that though, and it’s not all by accidents. In fact, quite a bit of the leading causes of early mortality are preventable. Run through the checklist below and see how many of the “guaranteed to die young, or at least age poorly” habits you possess.
Smoking: Smoking is one of the leading causes of preventable deaths and has been linked to various health problems, including heart disease, stroke, and cancer.
Poor diet: A diet high in processed foods, sugar, and unhealthy fats can contribute to chronic health problems, such as obesity, type 2 diabetes, and heart disease.
Lack of physical activity: Regular physical activity is essential for maintaining physical and mental health, but a sedentary lifestyle can increase the risk of chronic diseases and decrease lifespan.
Excessive alcohol consumption: Drinking excessive amounts of alcohol can cause liver damage, increase the risk of certain cancers, and lead to a range of mental health problems.
Lack of sleep: Chronic sleep deprivation can increase the risk of depression, obesity, and chronic diseases, and may have a negative impact on lifespan.
Now I’m not here to tell anyone how to live their life. But, if you want to truly thrive I believe that comes through building and maintaining your health.
